Jitu Express disclosed information showing that among the seven directors on the board of directors, the oldest director is Liu Erfly, a 64-year-old investment banker. He also serves as the chairman of the remuneration committee and the nomination committee. The youngest director is Shen Peng, a 36-year-old founder of Waterdrop Inc., who also serves as the chairman of the corporate governance committee. The three independent directors have extensive management experience in areas such as the internet, investment, and comprehensive operation of Wuxi Online Offline Communication Information Technology Co., Ltd.
Shen Peng is the founder of Waterdrop Inc. (NYSE: WDH) and currently serves as the chairman of the board of directors and CEO. Prior to founding Waterdrop in 2016, Shen Peng joined Meituan (HKEX: 03690) during its early development stage in January 2010 and was one of the founding members of Meituan Takeout, responsible for various affairs such as internet development and operation rules and the construction and management of business systems.
Liu Erfly currently serves as the chief executive officer and founding partner of Asia Financing Limited and the chief executive officer of Asia Investment. Before founding Asia Financing, Liu Erfly held senior management positions in major financial institutions, such as the head of the investment banking department in China at Goldman Sachs Group, Inc., the managing director of Merrill Lynch (Asia Pacific) Limited, and the chairman of Merrill Lynch in China.
