　　在考聆听公开试的时候，较为弱的考生往往不能专注，又或者因为平时没有聆听英语，最后在考试时候不能明白考试内容，成绩强差人意。本栏今集希望介绍一些可以透过平常生活细节中锻练聆听技巧，在自娱中也可以有趣学习。

　　跟阅读及写作一样，如果我们平时没有把英语成为生活上的一部分，只在考试前临急抱佛脚，实在难以考得好成绩。很多考生以为只需疯狂地练习past papers，drilling 便可考取好成绩。勤力为考试準备当然最好，但英语毕竟是一种技能，平时的练习是不可缺少的。当然不是每个人都对语文有兴趣，但我们可以尝试把自己的entertainment and hobbies“英语化”

　　1.虽然我不是音乐人，但在我的spoken English课堂中常加插有意义的pop songs，lyrics worksheet等等。聆听英文歌曲绝对可有效地改善我们的聆听技巧及对语文的敏感度，即使害羞的学生不会在课堂上跟我一起唱一起跳，大家也可以轻鬆一番。

　　2.欣赏纪录片／卡通片／英文电影，最重要是专注在自己喜欢的类别之上。我有些学生喜欢观看欧洲fashion show或足球节目，也可以很迅速及有效地学到大量vocabulary, collocations  and sentence structures. 

　　3. 很多学生只喜欢聆听native speakers 的英语或只喜欢聆听Queen's English，其实透过聆听不同国籍的Intonation 可以有效地训练我们的聆听技巧。

　　在这裏送上一首我经常跟学生分享的歌曲及lyrics worksheet──英国乐队Supertramp在1979年推出The Logical Song.　　一些具教育意义的好歌曲就是长青不老，百听不厌，同学在听歌之余也不妨写下“听后感”，记录自己所思所想，也可以发电邮跟我分享。
